Driveway Pavers : Things to Consider When Selecting A Paver For Your Driveway

What To Consider When Installing A Paver Driveway

There are many things to consider when installing a paver driveway. Here are our top 3 things to look out for when installing your new driveway:

  1. What type of paver do you want to install?

    • This is very important. When thinking about installing a new paver driveway you are going to want to make sure you know what type of paver you are have laid. Do you want a permeable paver ( helping with water issues ). Do you want a larger sizes paver. Do you want a textured pavers. Do you want a traditional 4x8 paver or a paver set that comes in multiple sizes? Before making any of these decisions make sure you reach out to a paver specialist to help you select the best paver options for your new space!

  2. Do you have any changes to your driveways current shape and/or size?

    • Many of our clients when thinking of installing a new paver want to extend or change the shape of their existing driveway. They may want to add additional parking areas, change the shape from rectangle to more circular or just widen their current driveway a tad. Before we start designing a new driveway we always make sure we ask our client exactly what they want to achieve with their new driveway layout. This helps us not only design the perfect space but help them choose the right paver as well!

  3. What color tones are you interested in?

    • Since paver driveways are expensive making sure you pick the right paver color for your home is key. We always suggest taking a look at the roof and the siding of the home. As a homeowner, you want to make sure you are complimenting both of those features!
