Is Polymeric Sand Used On A Pool Deck Installation?

Polymeric sand is a very important part of the installation process as it helps prevent your pavers from shifting. To save money, some clients choose to use regular sand rather than poly sand...but we do not recommend regular for a pool deck installation as pool decks are prone to sand washout, due to the amount of water that gets on the surface.
