Why Hilton Head homeowners choose American Paving Design
Built for island conditions. Hilton Head's sandy soil and high water table make base preparation critical. We excavate deeper, compact our crushed-stone base in layers, and plan drainage before we dig. Near the beach and around saltwater pools, we recommend polymeric sand joints and a sealer schedule that keeps salt from soaking in.
Plantation and ARB experience. We help homeowners through the architectural review process in communities such as Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, Shipyard, Long Cove, Wexford, Hilton Head Plantation, Port Royal Plantation, Indigo Run and Palmetto Hall. For a small additional fee, we can prepare your ARB paperwork, including site plans, product specs and color samples, so your submittal moves smoothly.
We protect the trees. Many island lots have mature live oaks, and the Town of Hilton Head Island protects many trees. We lay out and build around root zones so the trees stay healthy and the pavers stay level, and we check whether any work near protected trees needs approval.
Scheduling for second homes and rentals. Many island homes are second homes or vacation rentals. We can schedule installation around your rental bookings.
